Fishing has been spotty around Australia- Darwin Harbor yielded some nice trevally and misc reef fishes. Same for Cairns. Unfortunately (depending on one's opinion), we were not able to line fish on the Great Barrier Reef. Had we done so, Craig's tarpon would look like a six incher. I got to swim with some 2 meter sharks and rays, also saw some VW-sized gropers.
